For this Photoshop task we were asked to hand paint a photo. For this we went out and took some portrait pictures then when we got back we used photoshop to change the image to black and white by going image- adjustments then black and white then we printed it out. When we printed it out we then just painted over the picture to colour it in.

Photoshop Workshop- Radial Blur
To start with my picture was to dark because of the weather so i used the dodge tool on the left tool bar to lighten up my picture. To make the zoom or spin the picture you have to click and hold on the marquee tool on the left toolbar then select the circular shape tool. Then you have to make the circle on the picture that you want to be the center of the zoom that does not change. You then have to inverse the picture by going on select then inverse. As well as inverting the picture you have to feather it so that it makes a little bit on the outside of the circle blur so that it blends in to the picture. To feather you have to go on select, modify then feather, when the box comes up you have to change the feather pixels to 150. To make the zoom or spin you have to go to filter, blur then radial blur then when the box comes up you have to click on either spin or zoom then you can change the settings depending on how you want the picture to look.

Part 2 Image Management
INTRODUCTION
We have six weeks to complete the second part of the digital assignment. This will involve research into digital artists work, workshops and reproducing a famous photograph or image of our choice. The aim is to increase our Photoshop skills.
Photoshop Workshop- 3D
To make a 3d image you have to select an image, then when it is open in photoshop you have to duplicate the layer by dragging the picture in the layer bar on the right to the button at the bottom.
Then select the top layer then go to image, adjustments, levels. On levels you have to change the channel to red and the out put to 0. then you do the same with the bottom layer but change the channel to green and then 0 out put then the same with blue. The two different layers should be different colours (bottom layer red and the top layer blue and green).

Then you go onto the layer box on the right and select the top layer and then at the top change normal to screen. Then to finish off the 3d image you have to select the grab tool on the tool bar on the left and drag the top layer down a little bit and across to line it up to make it look 3d.
